I'm trying to find out the name of the Swedish skater from about 20 years ago, she could spin and spin and spin for days, it seemed, without ever slowing down or moving off her axis. What was her name?

No, Denise was Swiss, not Swedish. The one I'm thinking of - I remember she wasn't the greatest jumper, but when she started spinning it brought down the house because she just kept going and going.

No wonder I couldn't find her, she was Swiss, not Swedish! Thanks for the guess about Denise because it got me looking at Switzerland instead of Sweden.

It was: Lucinda Martha Ruh! She was the ultimate spinner (set a world record by doing 115 continuous revolutions on one foot). She's got a website, vids on youtube, all kinds of stuff.
