Hello all. :)

I'm trying to figure out which Junior Pairs teams we can expect to see at Sectionals and/or Nationals this year. It seems like there are a lot of teams who I heard about a while ago but am not sure which section and/or level they are competing at. Here are all the pairs I can think of right now...if you have any info, please post if they are in fact competing in juniors and in the section I have listed. Thanks!

JUNIOR PAIRS

Pacific Coast:
Baca/Smith
Mayne/Szatkowski?
Klunchoo/Gardner?
Yount/Marron?

Midwestern:
Vise/Kole
Howerton/Pottenger
Galleher/Coughlin
Castile/Okolski
Parr/Corbin?
Skavdahl/Davis?
Harris/Sanders?
Hofstadter/Vriner?
Seitz/Seitz?

Eastern:
Appel/Harris
Varraux/Pelletier
Maltby/Murphy
Harkaway/Larcom? (could do mids or east)
McInerney/Jorgens? (have competed both jr and sr this year)
Jordan/Barrett? (novice or junior?)
Jimenez/Burgess??
Rigolout/Livi?

Anyone I've misplaced or forgotten?

I believe Skavdahl & Davis are staying novice, and I'm not sure what's up with Hoffstadter & Vriner since they haven't been anywhere this year. It would seem kind of odd for them to stay in juniors another year (especially since IIRC she's 17 or 18 and he's at least 20 now), but otoh since there are so many senior couples this year, they might not make nationals if they moved up. That's assuming they're even together anymore.

There should be another pair at Easterns--last year's New England novice champs, Renee Laverdiere & Chad Brennan, have moved up to juniors this year. I don't think they have the technical content to make nationals, but for those who get to see them at Easterns, they're a fun team to watch. Looks like we should have a regional junior competition this year between L&B and Rigoulet & Livi, which I'm looking forward to seeing!
