Who are your fav. Pairs Skaters from the past/present,& who do you see in the future?

Say,who are your fav. Pairs Skaters from the past and present....and which famous Singles Skater would you love to see become a Pairs Skater in the Future? I love Jamie and David and Katie and Garrette from the past, Jessica Dube as one of my fav. presently...and I'd love to see Emily Hughes and Kimmie Meissner as Pairs Skaters in the future. Anyone else?

I really like the classics, such as Gordeava and Grinkov (sp?) I really love mostly all of the Russian Pair teams, because they have an incredible line and very polished technique with a real emphasis on synchronization. I really value the basics of pair skating, which consists of really good strong fundamentals, and would take that over the big tricks anyday.

Past favorites: the Protopopovs, Babilonia & Gardner, Underhill & Martini, Gordeeva & Grinkov, Shen & Zhao. Present: Pang & Tong. I think Jill Trenery & Jenny Kirk would have both been good pair skaters.
