He's been nailing his 3a and 4 toe. I'm so happy to hear this because I LOVE that guy, i hope he kicks some butt in the grand prix!:D don't under estimate him. he could very well make it to the GPF!!

If it's really true that's a great news! because Stephane totally rocks and the major thing he had to work on was getting the 3a and a quad. so 4toe is definitely a good start.

Excellent - I really like this skater and disappointed that he has not had the technical difficulty in the past because I know it would hold him back in the future. Hope he has a great season.

Great! He's a favourite of mine to watch.
With or without the jumps. :)

I saw him this weekend in Nepela memorial, 4T is close to be succesfull but 3ax is far away to count. Sorry, folks.

Oublik - so he went for the 3A at least? Ah well...his 2A's were so noticeably tiny at Euros, it was tough to imagine the triple coming soon. :( Maybe with some more growth and power it'll happen eventually.

Lambiel landed a gorgeous triple axel that was captured on the world feed during the warmup of the men's free at the Olympics. Even though the double looks very small, this particular triple axel looked fine to me.

I was going to comment the same- based on a few other skaters comments on Lambiel at Mishin's summer training camp in Davos, sounds like Stephane wasn't very successful or even close to having a 3Axel. It wasn't too long ago and based on what oubik saw just this weekend, I'd say Lambiel is still a ways from having the jump in his repetoire. It is good, however, to hear that he almost has the quad and he's attempting it.

No, he even did not try it at all but I was not on the free skate and in all the trainings. So, maybe somewhere, sometimes in a secret place he did some :)
