I don't know about you guys, but I cannot wait any longer for the Grand Prix Series to start!!

Who are you most looking forward to seeing this season, and who do you hope will fulfill their potential??

I am hoping for a breakthrough season for Sandhu........we all know he has the goods! If he is clean he could medal at Worlds without a doubt IMO.
I also want to see Takeshi and Abt have a great season!
And of course my heart is with Yags, but I guess I will not be seeing him at Worlds this year!! *as I wipe away the tears*

In dance, I would love to see B&K on top where they so deserve to be (B&K bashers, ...this is just my opinion)
I'd like a breakthrough season for L&T and D&L. They are so much better than 10th in the world!!

I'd like a comeback for Angela and I'd like to see Suguri better her bronze medal!

In pairs, hmmmm this is tough since my favs are out. But, I'd like to see that quad throw by S&Z successfully landed this year. And if their artistry continues to improve like it did last year........Look out!!
I think the Canadian teams of Langois & Archetto and Larriviere & Faustino have potential. They had a great showing at last years worlds!
But watch out for Pang & Tong! I would have loved to have seen I & Z excell this year, but *sigh* I guess that won't happen!:(

Anyway, these are my thoughts....now lets get the season rolling!!!!!!!!

Oh, ain't it the truth! I like all or most of your hopes and wishes. I am thrilled to see Takeshi's growing confidence and I love the emotion, style and musicality of his work. This is his year. And Sandhu too, indeed. He is spectacular, no matter what he does on the ice. And it will be fascinating watching Angela, Sarah and Sasha duke it out. I hope each gets her moment in the sun and I want a world medal of any color for Angela.

In dance, now that Drobiashko & Vanegas are gone from eligible skating, I don't especially care what happens as long as it's fair. :frus: I do hope that there will be more visibility on television for the pros in all disciplines, since there are so many great pros out there now.

Hopes are very different from expectations though. For example, I'd like to see an occasional ear to ear grin on the face of a Russian woman. :D Irina is the only Russian gal who knows how to let go and smile, it seems.

Pang and Tong? I don't know--she's so thin it hurts. But let's get on with the season before I wear out my old tapes!

I can't wait either. I will be so happy to hang out on the couch and watch the season unfold and check out all the new programs and costumes!!!!! See whose hot and who is not this year.

I'm curious to see how sasha fairs with her new coach and how sarah will do. What pairs team will rise to the top this year. Esspecially in the U.S. its so wide open and 3 spots to go to worlds.

I'm hoping to see the Zhangs from China again this year. They looked like a real diamond in the rough last year at 4 Continents.

I'm hoping Joannie Rochette continues to improve. She is such a solid jumper. The canadian ladies should be interesting this year.

The Sarah versus Sasha will be interesting to watch from the sidelines. It reminds me of the Pleshenko versus Yagudin discussions.

Most of all I, too, am hoping this is Sandhu's year.

I agree ... can't wait for the season to start. Of course, I am still hoping Michelle decides to compete at some point.
But ... if not ... it will be pretty interesting watching the others duke it out! I love Angela and would love to see her really put it all together. It will be interesting to see how Sarah handles all the pressure that comes along with her new title ... and how much Sasha improves under TT.
And, we can't forget Ann Patrice and Jenny ... boy the ladies lineup is jam packed!!!
I'd also like to see Timmy continue to improve. (especially artistically)
I'm not especially excited about the pairs since I&Z, S&P and B&S seem to be going the pro route.
I'm going to my first Worlds this year ... so I just hope it's exciting!
