That's about what we got last year of the GP series.
I think the big problem is all in the timing of SA and SC. There has to be some 'agreement' of some sort somehow that CTV/TSN won't broadcast SA the weekend it's on -- otherwise, why don't we see it then? Of course, the following weekend is SC, and you KNOW the Cdn networks arent' going to show anything but that. That puts any coverage we get of SA two weeks behind right from the get-go (which is what it was last year). Why they're waiting a month for SA is beyond me.
Sucky, isn't it?

Actually a more appropriate feedback link is
http://www.tsn.ca/broadcast/contact_us.asp
This is specifically regarding broadcasts, not the website.
Thanks Bailey. I did a lot of searching, but didn't find that feedback form. But then I wandered around for a while in the WTSN website trying to find out if they were going to air it sooner. I didn't find anything tho.
Yes, I agree Lee, the timing is suspect. (sigh) Don't know why they do it that way. Well, we always said the best way to get the ISU's attn was to hit them in the wallet. This coverage should help. ;)

I was just going to post about something I read in my TV Guide last week (the bright orange "Fall Preview" one) in the "Digital Previews" section under WTSN:
"Also in the program is figure skating: the ISU Four Continents Championship, the European Championship, the World Juniors and the Worlds."
Does this mean these events (other than Worlds, of course) will only be broadcast on WTSN this year? I hope not--I can't get this channel and I know a lot of other people can't get it/can't afford it either.
I feel really bad for the skating fans who can't get WTSN or TSN. Oh well, at least this is more GP event coverage than we got last year (when CTV crammed two separate GP events into only two hours of coverage!) Sigh, I miss Sportsnet's skating coverage.

This GP coverage is WAY better than what we had last year. I'm thankful we're getting two hours per GP. Much better than the crappy coverage last year.
Interesting that WTSN is covering Junior Worlds. We haven't had JW coverage here since 2000 and that was only an hour.

well i certainly am not pleased...
they are putting more and more things on the cable stations that some of us don't get... so unfair.

Yes and no. 4 Continents will be on both CTV and TSN. No mention of Junior Worlds or Europeans, but in the past we have had "highlights" of Europeans so I'd be surprised if we didn't get something.

Thanks, Artemis--at least there's a little bit of good news for those of us who can't get WTSN...

Geez - if they're going to delay the GP, they couldn't put in on during Christmas vacation when I'm back home? :P I'm really going to miss Canadian TV in Philly!
I could see Junior Worlds only being on WTSN (which *might* mean potentially great coverage), but I imagine the rest would be available on TSN. Last season they repeated a lot of coverage on WTSN (ex. SC, Canadian Open, Nats, 4C) but did have some exclusive extensive GP coverage.
Also, maybe ESPN Classic Canada will actually have some "new" PRE-98 coverage! Not that I could get it. :(
