Did anyone subscribe to the USFSA's IceNetwork.Com service?
Are there commentators talking over the music?

I subscribe to the Icenetwork.com. I find that the quality is better than last year. They have edited the event so that you just see the announcement of the skater, the program, and the final bows. You do not have to wait for scores and there a no shots of the zamboni clearing the ice. Oh to answer your question, no commentators.

Wow, really?
No commentators might be worth it. How much do they charge, and what do you get for it?
(I suppose I could just go to the site and find that out, huh?)

When I subscribed, it was something like $29.95 for the entire USFS competitive season except standard track nationals. They advertised that the adult sectionals would get coverage and (IIRC) AN as well. I signed up so quickly that I didn't even read the fine print to see if they plan to let future year subscribers have access to past years' content. I think they would, but I don't know for sure.
On the whole I like the pricing a LOT better than the Figure Skating Channel, and I didn't have any trouble watching events after I started my subscription--instant access. (With FS Channel, I had LOADS of trouble, and it took 4 sessions with tech support to get it sorted out, and it turned out that some of the tech people had given my bad advice. It took so long to get it sorted that they gave me a free 1 week pass to all the content--so I watched lots of AN and adult sectionals and took lots of notes, plus I watched regular sectionals. But this all happened about a week before the arrangement with USFS went kaput, so I didn't get to try watching any more events.)
One thing I don't like is that there doesn't seem to be a full screen mode for the video viewer, so sometimes it's hard to see people's expressions or get a detailed look at edging, etc. It also seems difficult to precisely back up or go forward or to go in slo mo, since this doesn't run in Windows Media Player.
