Thought you might appreciate this clip I took of DS during his private lesson last week . . . his coach had to go talk to another coach for a minute . . . and I *thought* he was going to run through his routine again, so started up the camera, but instead, I got this . . . DS being a typical 8 year old . . . too funny!

As far as I know, the "balancing mitten" stunt is not actually part of his routine!!

Too cute!

Is he going to have to have a talk about using time wisely?

I'm sure he was just taking time to review his program and reflect on life.

For myself, I like to balance a skate guard on my nose; its very therapeutic.

Very cute! I think he shows very nice ease on the ice while balancing the mitten. A lot of people couldn't do that off ice!

Whenever I turn my back on a student, they fall and get hurt! Your son practices his circus routine. (I was thinking about a group number for my toddlers the other day with a circus theme. I know just who to pick for the Lion and Tamer. *giggle*)

Glad this was just fun and games. It was cute how he started working on the spread eagle just in time for the coach to turn around! LOL
