When I first glanced at the Thread title, I thought it said "Jeff Buttle resigns"! LOLOL I was shocked! I thought "Man, he did such a good job at the Olympics, what happened!?!".

Thanks for the link, Jen. However it still doesn't tell me the info I was looking for: specifically, who sang the version of "River" that he skated to in this year's Holiday Festival on Ice show.

Was it Joni Mitchell? I did a quick search, and it stated that he had skated to a song called "River" by Joni Mitchell? I have never heard it, that I know of.

Well, yeah, of course Jeff redesigns. He's been redesigning the look of skating for years. It's just taken the rest of the world to take notice. It's not all about the jumps. Although they do help increase the technical and overall scores. LOL
Jen, when you see or email Jeff, remind him to skate with his heart, for himself and just have fun!
Thanks for giving Jeff the website!

No, it was a guy, which is unusual -- a lot of women have covered that song (originally by Joni Mitchell), but you don't hear a lot of men singing it. I know James Taylor has a version of it on his new Xmas CD, but it wasn't him.

May I suggest one of my favorite performers (his concerts are fun and friendly) - Barry Manilow (http://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Gift-Love-Barry-Manilow/dp/B00006LFGC)? (Scroll down on the Amazon page and listen to the track.)

Hmmm, could be. I'll have to watch the show again to compare.
