I thought these were just updates, but they appear to be final results.

211.76?! Too bad that score won't count as a new world record (since it was not in international competition). I wonder if she did the axel out of the RFI brackets or if she took them out. . .?

Is there still a chance Fumie will be sent to Worlds?

You know how some of these countries are. I do not necessarliy agree with it, but a lot obviously do not send the Top 3 from Nationals.

I found that despite the skater's results at the Japanese nationals, their skating federation has chosen their world teams by how successful the skaters have been in previous international meets. They have also sent their choice skaters to the Four Continents competition to have a second try at the world team. I think Fumie has a big chance in going to world this year compared to Yukari because of her Olympic and World placements last year.
