Well, though I love her, she IS just a more stable version of Emmanuelle Sandhu. Never a completely clean program, which is not gonna cut it with Mao Asada, Miki Ando, Kimmie, etc. out there. Has Sasha ever even done a clean 3/3 in a program? Ever?

Will Sasha ever be able to keep it together enough to win a World or Olympic Gold, which seems to be her only reason to stay eligible? She only won a National Gold last year because Michelle was not able to compete.

I love Sasha, she is my favorite eligible competing skater (well, was competing), but great posture can only get you so far.

So, who is gonna win Nationals? Kimmie most likely?

I know she's done quite a few 3/3 sequences - the ones with the 1/2 loopy things, but I think she has done one 3/3 combination in competition as well.

If Kwan had been at Nationals last year, I'm not sure she would have won. IJS wasn't her cup of tea?

Meissner would be my front-runner for Nationals, but I can't wait to see who steps up to the plate to fill up that podium, now that both of the "Grand Dames" (is that the correct spelling?) are gone...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sasha_Cohen - All kinds of cool basic info on Sasha (Alexandra Pauline) Cohen, including family, coaches, etc.

This article does state that Tatiana Tarasova got Sasha to do a 3Lutz/3toe in competition. I do not remember it. Was it clean, ratified? Or was it a "sequence", which is not a TRUE 3/3? Surely someone knows.

The Wikipedia article also states that Sasha "will not be competing again until 2009-2010", which I am not sure she stated that, exactly.

According to this fansite:

Cohen completed a 3L/3T at the 2003 World Championships...

Thanks Schmeck for looking that up.

Regardless of 3/3's or whatever, I love Sasha's skating and hope she comes back happy, healthy and ready to kick butt in the very near future. :)
