Wow - 13 seasons with the Stars on Ice tour. That's grueling.

I didn't know Brian Orser coached Yu-Na Kim. World's getting smaller all the time, huh?

Wow! I'm feeling so old, it seems like yesterday that Orser won his FIRST Olympic silver! I wasn't sure if I would go to SOI this year but I think I will have to now.

Just to clarify: Brian Orser will be in the Canadian SOI tour, not the U.S. one. It's too bad, b/c I would love to see him. I'm guessing he'll do his "The Story of My Life" number, which I got to see in U.S. SOI about 10 (?) years ago and I always loved. He performed it at "Gotta Skate" which was shown on TV Sunday. I'll miss seeing him in these specials (although it sounds like he won't completely retire from those).

I hope Brian doesn't stop performing on the TV specials. I saw him in Bridgeport last month at the Michael Bolton event and he was spot on each time he took the ice. Couldn't help but wonder if coaching has sharpened his skills.

Brian Orser's quite a guy. 8-)
