Have to say, I really thought this special was pretty good. I liked most of the music, loved the skaters, and it was very tastefully done. I don't always like the NBC specials, but this one surprised me. Nikodinov and Arakawa are great additions to the pro circuit. And it is always nice to see Kulik as well. Overall it was a great combination of skaters and they all did well.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Not that I thought I wouldn't enjoy the skating, it was the music that surprised me. I've never been a Michael Bolton fan, but his music worked very well in this context.
