I just didn't really get into this special. I don't know if it is that Kurt seems to have many of the same skaters every year, or if I just didn't care much about the band. I think the last of his specials that I really liked was the one when Michael Buble was featured. I didn't even know about Michael at the time, but loved the special, and now buy all of his cd's.

So, anyway, watched bits and pieces of the special, but it didn't hook me to watch all of it.

I very much enjoyed it. I'm not overly fond of Barenaked Ladies, but always like to watch the skaters have fun with Kurt, and Kurt's footwork always makes it worthwhile for me. I particularly enjoyed Joannie Rochette, it was great to see her having fun.

I did enjoy this special a great deal. Of course it helps that I'm a big BNL fan -- I agree that if you don't like them, that would be a big strike against the show. I thought all the programs were great, and as a whole it was a good, fun show. But I agree that as a "concept," this one wasn't as good as the first one (Gotta Dance!) or the Michael Bublé one from a couple of years back.
