They're coming to Dallas to as part of some motivational seminar that includes speakers such as Mary Lou Retton.

It's October 17th. There was a big full-page ad for the seminar in last Sunday's Dallas Morning News.

I saw an ad downtown today on a small billboard in Union Station, for Roots and its introduction to Carsons Stores.

I guess that may explain Jamie and David's appearance tomorrow?! :D

Just got back from meeting Jamie and David - they're nice, cute, and very pleasant. I told them I was looking forward to SOI, and that I was returning to seeing that show partly because of them. Jamie said it was going to be a "great show" this year.

They had pictures they were autographing (big 8x10 glossies instead of the small 5x7 postcards), or they'd autograph something for whomever wanted, but the organizers limited it to only one thing autographed. I decided that I would ask for an autographed picture for a friend, and they put her name on it. Then Jamie asked if I wanted one for myself as well, so I also have one. I thought that was nice, in view of the 'one item only' rule. :)

A co-worker went with me - she enjoys skating, but her mother-in-law is Canadian and adores Jamie and David. Therefore, Donna asked for an autographed picture for her m-i-l, and will surprise her with it when she comes to the States for a visit next month.

Just when I thought my days of meeting skaters was over... ;)
