For those of you that missed Ice Wars on CBS last night....
If anyone wants a lesson on edge quality, watch Brian Boitano and Kurt Browning.
Watching both of them in their 40's, skating like they did went they competed frequently head to head at the long ago World Professional Championships was amazing and a great trip back in time.

I agree. It was wonderful to see them both skating against each other again.:)

The highlights for me were Angela and Shizuka. Both women skated beautifully, and it's great that Angela is able to continue doing the thing she loves the most.

And don't forget Rory Flack Burghart - those russian splits are still incredible!

Oksana really did not belong with that group. In my opinion, she does not have a lot to offer these days. Her choreography is not good, and she is not playing on her strengths. Plus, I just have to add, that she either has a really bad fake tan, or she has been tanning too much and looks way older than she should.
Now for the positive--I thought everyone else brought quality skating. Shizuka skated beautifully; as did Angela.

Agree with all the above. Even Yagudin looked good - must have ben sober - he sure can skate when his act is together. I thought Michael Weiss looked a little nervous, made me smile, I guess even the great skaters get sweaty palms. Why don't they have pairs or dancers in these competitions?

yagudin's footwork is awsome. i like it a whole lot better that plushenkos. plushenko just swings his ams way too much. i never really liked that part of his skating. shusaka's jump landings were so gractful. never seen anyone land jumps like that. and angela's skate almost made me cry. oksana (not much else to say about her) sorry.
