Our organization (Latino Skating) was called by the Arena to see if I can come up with people to go to this. Tickets did not sell well so they are providing us with tickets (since the show is televised.. they want people to fill seats...). The tickets are going to be reserved so if you are interested you must contact me immediately. I provide the exact names of everyone coming from our group so I need to be contacted for this.

Send me an PM with a telephone number I can call ya to get the information I need (instead of me posting my personal phone all over the internet :p )

Whopps - December 1st! (It is Friday though)

Thank you so much, Arsenette. It was great meeting you and your friends (did you know that guy who introduced himself or was he being a clown?). The show was much better than I anticipated - to see BOTH the men's and women's olympic champions, along with the other performers - wow!

I ran into Renatele (not literally) at the show - she says she's returned to the ice after her concussion, but she's starting back slowly!

My DH and kids loved the show as much as I did. The teenagers found the marriage proposal to Naomi Lang (http://naomiandpeter.ice-dance.com/news.html) very romantic. (Who's the guy - I didn't catch his name.) The twins loved the glitter and the glitz, along with the skating. Everyone found the "retakes" amusing. I liked Evgeny's refusal to start 30seconds into his program - "From the top!"

One of my private students is the king of hydroblading and knee slides. I told him to watch the TV broadcast in January and check Shae-Lyn's first program. He'll be in heaven! LOL

Thanks again!

Glad you enjoyed it! I didn't meet Renatele  I lost track of the people I met! I ran into a couple from FSU and a few from my own organization.

I had fun! Wish more people were able to go. So excited to see Naomi get proposed to as well!

Have to add my thanks to Arsenette, too - thank you so much!

Loved the show (except Sylvia's first number. That was x-rated and not much skating!). Got bummed that my son got too tired and whiny and we had to leave in the middle of the retakes...

My silly husband kept asking if Naomi knew about the proposal beforehand (what can I say... he's Indian and romantic proposals in his neck of the woods weren't exactly customary, LOL).

All of us had a good time :)
