Wow!
Nelidina off to a good start, and who is this Carolina Kostner? She won an event just weeks ago.......I am really anxious to see her skate!

carolina is this AMAZING skater from italy! she has a fantastic 3loop and did an awesome 3lutz/3TOE!!! in her long program in france (clean, not a flutz, and looked easy) she has all her other triples other than the axel ofcourse. she is a huge talent is so enjoyable to watch-good basic skating :D

Carolina was also 10th at Junior Worlds this past year, but I think she could have been a couple of spots higher. She must have had a disaster in the qualifying, because she skated a clean short program (with a triple lutz combo and a triple loop) and landed five triples in the long, including a triple lutz-triple toe. And she's got strong presentation skills, too, although they do still need some developing. The ladies' field at Junior Worlds was very strong this year, so her placement isn't really indicative of her skating.

Sounds like the Junior Ladies will yet again be out-jumping the seniors this year.
