What a scum - wish they could take any Olympic accolades away from him, as he certainly doesn't represent any of it presently - trafficking in prostitutes too?!?

This thread would fit better in the Skating News/Articles forum, wouldn't it?

Well, it would be great if they would take away his Gold medal, because then Tim Wood would be named Olympic Champion of 1968 (as he should have back then!!).

This guy has been in and out of trouble for YEARS!!

Wow, my coach competed against him at the Olympics that year. He must have wished he was in his place back then. . . but probably doesn't now! ;)

Yeah -- your coach and Tim Wood 1968 -- first and second (any order) would have been just fine with me!!!

Great skaters, both of them, (although we all prefered doubletoe's coach back then, but then again, that was just us kids...8-) ;) ).

I actually e-mailed my coach that story yesterday and this morning the old timers at our rink--Gary Visconti (my coach), Bob Paul and Cathy Machado--were abuzz with the gossip, LOL! This guy was not well-liked.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall in this gossip-session! (Bob Paul -- wow!).
