Skate St. Paul, Skate Detroit

Can someone please post any info they have on Skate St. Paul? This used to be a biggie in the Midwest. And Skate Detroit should be coming up soon, I believe. Thanks!

You've probably already noticed that Skate St. Paul hasn't posted the schedule yet--they DID post it last year, so I was sort of hoping for 2 years in a row, but . . .

Anyhow, I'm planning on spending some time there this weekend (if I had a schedule, I could tell better), so I can post a few notes next week unless somebody more diligent does it in the meantime. (I only have a computer at work.)

I didn't attend much the past 2 years, so I've sort of lost track of who's a regular for that competition anymore. It will be interesting to see if there are any new (to me) people that catch my eye.

I'm sorry I didn't get time to post my notes this week--I was too far behind at work and couldn't pay attention to skating. I hate it when that happens!

It was a REALLY fun competition and some interesting performances. I promise I will get organized and do it the beginning of next week.

I wish the new judging system results reports could also include the score/point totals -- if anyone is interested, the Novice-Senior scores can be found at FSU (click on link above).

Wish I knew there were that many pairs, I could have used the training.
Skate Detroit always has quite a few pairs entries every year (but usually just a short program event for Senior pairs). Are you trial judging pairs?
