Thanks for the link, FSwer. Montgomery/Arnold just won the gold medal last weekend at the first Junior Grand Prix in Courchevel, France, and their next JGP will be in Beijing, China, in October. Best of luck to them in 2002-3!

I wouldn't call Carla and Ryan the newest pair team in Canada, hehe. They teamed up at the beginning of last season winning both their grand prix events and the national junior title. They were heads and shoulders above the rest of the competition. Both are strong single skaters with terrific pair skills. And the best part about their partnership is their youth. Both are just 18 and 17. Bright bright future ahead.

Um, it's a nice website, but did you read it? It says they teamed up in the summer of 2001. That's not what I would call a new team. They've been together for over a year.

Well they sound really impressive. I have to say that if they are not named B&S or I&Z or S&P, THEN BY GOSH, THEY ARE NEW! To some of us at least. That will stir up some excitement in the up and comming pair teams that the world has to offer. How nice for these kids. Best of luck to them and mighty nice of you to post here for us. Thanks
