Hello, Everyone :o
I thought I would put my two cents on here, saying I think Liz Manley has turned very American on us Canadians! Which is very sad! I think she has totally forgotten she is/was a Canadian citizen first before she got her green card in the States. After all she was born here in Belleville, Ontario and after all she did win the Olympic silver medal for Canada at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. I have been listening to her on Westwood One Radiohttp://www.westwoodone.com/olympics and WCBS Newsradio 880 http://www.wcbs880.com/pages/4187.php?. I noticed since the beginning of the 2006 Turin Winter Olympic games to me anyhow it seems she is all for the American Team not rooting for us Canadians at all!
Question - is Liz Manley officially an American citizen? I thought she only has her green card so she can work in the sates, just wondering.
The thing that is bugging me the most is she hasn't mentioned anything positive or anything at all about the Canadian figure skaters being at the games. It's all about the American skaters! I think she defnitely has potential as being a figure skating analyst but she should remember where she came from, which is Canada not United States of America.
I do remember reading somewhere she will be getting married in Trenton, Ontario which is where her mom and family lives, which surprises me she will be getting married in Trenton because she lives and works in Aston, Pa and I don't believe she doesn't come to Canada to do any guest skating lessons or seminars here in Canada. So why is she getting married in Canada. Basically I think she has turned all American on us Canadians!!! Not good at all! It is very sad because she is my favorite skater!
If you would like to listen to Liz Manley on Westwood One and WCBS Newsradio 880 to listen for yourselves here are the links to go to --

Also, would anyone know where I could find any recent Liz Manley pictures at the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics? Any help greatly appreciated.
I said my peace - thank you for reading  :frus:
