I watched a couple of teams on practice ice yesterday (they are practicing at my rink and I had forgotten that our freestyle ice was cancelled this week for the synchro teams - lol).

I might head over to the Van Andel on Saturday to watch some of it, but I have to, in the immortal words of my coach, "see what's going on, first."

I used to skate ISI synchro when I was a teenager, and went to (as a fan) Synchro Nationls when they were in Chicago in the mid-90s. The senior teams are pretty impressive.

45.5 hours of volunteer time later, I can say I worked my butt off and it was a great event. Kudos to the top teams, esp. Miami U!
