Any news about his programs?
Anyone seen him go to a rink to practice?

What is going on with Eman?

I have heard he's been seen practicing last year's SP (the footwork passages). I don't know if that means he's using that program this season or not. (Still training at 8Rinks)

That's all I know. :)

Oh boy I hope not. It would be nice to see some new material. If he does decide to do that I can understand it though, due to the fact that he didn't get to compete at Worlds. The injury would have interfered with his training time for this season as well, which could be another factor.

I actually like Eman's short program from last season. The Safri Duo rocks in my books. It suited him quite nicely, and magnificent cheography. I just hope though that he is training the short program only from last season. The long program wasn't the greatest that he has ever done. I hope he is doing well since his surgery, and that he finally skates to his potential that he is capable of. :) :) :) :) :) :)

Actually I forget what music he skated to last season. Can you remember?

I really liked his SP last year too, so I'm glad to hear he might be using it again.

I hope he has a new costume though!!!

Let's hope Emanuel's knee is fully healed and he has an awesome season :)

It was a combo of Crazy Benny, Played-A-Live and A Gusta by Safri Duo. I loved it! His free program was a piano medley of Grig, Herbert Howell and Massenet's 'Lamente d'Ariane'. If my memory serves me right..

I am pretty sure that you have the LP correct. At least I think it is.

has anyone tried watching one of his practices at 8 rinks?
I live closeby, and I'd love to drop in on one of his skating sessions, but I don't really know the procedure or proprieties surrounding this.

Hi, I live in New Westminster (I'm assuming you know where that is).

All you have to do is go out to 8 Rinks and to the Centre for Excellence (as opposed to the "regular rinks"). You may even give them a call to ask if Emanuel is practising/skating that day. Then just go and sit in the stands and watch. There's always some skate moms & dads to talk to. I and a friend of mine took her three grandsons one day and to our delight Eman was there. The 10-year old couldn't believe that anyone could jump that high on skates!

I haven't been recently...too chicken...afraid I'll see something I don't like. I really adore this kid, but I admit to watching him from BEHIND my chesterfield as opposed to ON it.

Just to add to Eman fan's post. If you are going to phone 8-rinks they probably won't have a clue whether Emanuel is skating or not since you will just get the admin office for the whole complex. Try asking for the times of the "Elite" sessions on the Skate Canada rink.

PS Eman fan I DO know where New West is since I am in Burnaby about 3 blocks north of 10th Ave !! LOL what a small world !
