On the way home to the airport in Turin (on his way home for a quick visit to russia) Plushy was involved in a car crash. He was not hurt, Mishin was but not seriously. It was very foggy and apparently it involved several cars. Plushy will return to skate in the Olympic Gala on Feb 24th. Thank goodness the golden idol is a o k.

I'm very glad he's ok.

But does anyone know why he was heading home? Most athletes love being able to stay on after their event to watch the other sports.

He was to be honored by the city for his Olympic victory."
