Thanks, dbny. It's a wonderful article, but sad too--I wish they didn't need to struggle or go into debt. I didn't know much about them, other than that they were long married and had met on-line. Wishing them the very best in Turin.

In some ways, their life is very nice, despite the difficulties -- getting to be together and doing what you love is worth a lot.

I enjoy their skating very much.

Melissa and Denis are wonderful on and off the ice and I'm glad they're getting some well overdue notice by the media. I can't wait to see them skate on Olympic Ice!!!!! they may be looking on to 2010, but I'm hoping they kick some serious butt in 2006 so people will stand up and (finally) take notice! WOOT!
