Anyone catch Sasha on Project Runway on Bravo last night? They had the designers design a skating dress for her. I didn’t like any of the dresses - the designers seemed slightly unclear on the concept. It was cute, though, that the show made the designers all wear cheesy skating costumes during the show, and they actually took the ice to skate around a bit with Sasha.
Sasha is so poised and charming off the ice. I loved watching her!

The episode ("On Thin Ice") is being rebroadcast tonight on Bravo (http://www.bravotv.com/Schedule/) at 8pm and at midnight.

I did see it. I thought some of them made a good attempt at a costume that she would at least be able to skate in. Others were just too over the top. I thought Sasha did a good job with the judging aspect and also with the desingers on ice.

I don't like either of the two top choices. The one that won (http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway_2/Episodes/Episode_7/Rate_the_Runway/Zulema.shtml) looked like you're wearing underwear on the ice. The other one (http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway_2/Episodes/Episode_7/Rate_the_Runway/Chloe.shtml)...well, I like the color, but it looks like a Christmas Tree! I wanted to hang my Christmas ornaments on the dress! :P
I think this one (http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway_2/Episodes/Episode_7/Rate_the_Runway/Santino.shtml) should be out instead of Emmett (http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway_2/Episodes/Episode_7/Rate_the_Runway/Emmett.shtml). Though I did agree with the panel on Emmett. It lack originality. (I don't like the dress part. The woman looked liked she had a wedgy!) But what drugs was Santino when he designed Sasha's dress??? 8O
Here's a question... why doesn't Sasha just wear her own designs? She's got impeccable taste and sense of style...well most of the time!!! (I didn't like her short program dress.)

Considering that they were all given $150 (If I heard that correctly) for fabric, I'm amazed that any of the dresses turned out wearable. WHen's the last time an elite skater got a dress for $150? My daughter's plain velvet dress with long sleeves and a ruffle cost $120. It had 6 crystals on it...
The navy blue dress with the neck insert is the closest dress to an actual, practical skating dress, and he got dumped? So, this show is about making really useless clothing and trying to sell it to idiots? (No, Cohen is not in this category, she made excellent comments about the dresses, and she picked a half-decent dress)
