Another short article with a small picture of the wedding. The photo in the paper had a better photo of her dress.

And another article (http://calsun.canoe.ca/News/Alberta/2005/12/31/1374342-sun.html), including a slightly better picture of Jamie's dress.

Is it just me, or does she look like she's wearing a coat/bathrobe and one of those fluffy knit scarves? Must be just something warm to wear over her dress, which seemed to have a sheer white beaded part in the previous link?

I'm sure she looked beautiful, but I don't think that's her wedding dress in the above link!

I think she is wearing a coat with faux fur cuffs, collar over her beautiful wedding dress. Must have been necessary with the cold, cloudy day. (so it seems from the photo)

Too bad, no honeymoon or time to relax after the big event - they are on Stars on Ice right away.

Hope they deal with the anti-climax that often goes with such an event.

I imagine, performing together for that first time as husband & wife must be a very special feeling. What better way to express & celebrate their love than on ice?

^ Yes, a whole new meaning to "I can't take my eyes off of you." (from The Blower's Daughter, one of their SOI numbers this year.)

Sale's personal style is reflected in her wedding attire, no understated elegance, chique or soft lines . Instead somewhat harsh and glitzy.

Hmm. Doesn't look very glitzy or harsh to me:

A bit OT but ... the Edmonton Journal article makes mention of "the two will head out in January for their final season with Stars On Ice."

Anyone know if that's true? Or is it just that their current contract ends this year? (though I though it was for one more season)

^ No, sorry, I meant was it true that this is their "final season" in SOI.

There were two awkward moments at the wedding:The first was when the marriage official said "If there is anyone who does not believe these two should be united in Holy wedlock, speak now,or forever hold your peace",and all eyes looked at the French judge. The other was just when Jamie and Dave presented each other with golden wedding rings, the ISU presented the Russian couple with identical golden rings.
