This article was in Northjersey.com. Scroll down. It's quite curious. I will be disappointed as I have rink side seats.

I've been thinking along the same lines as this article about Kwan. It's been pretty quiet on that front, hasn't it?

Well I think letting the audience votes the result has turned the cheesefest into a Velveta-fest. If Michelle is still not 100% then there's no need to fly across the country to do this "competition".

I'm still hoping MK blows us out of the Savvis in STL in January with her performance. I know how painful hip injuries are and wish her the best.

I couldn't agree more and was quite surprised to see that she would even consider cheese wiz events. I was hoping to see her skate one more time before she retired or turned to the pros. I would rather see her healthy for US Championships and the Olympics.

I think I like the term "cheese wiz" better than "Velveta". At least Velveta tastes good on a thick burger.

OK, that was totally off topic. but what the heck! ;)

Cheese Whiz violates the laws of both God and man.

My question...why can ABC find viewers for meaningless and usually horrible quality fluff competitions but can't find viewers for say Worlds, which is relegated to ESPN (or the Grand Prix events?)

My theory is that they can control the fluff "competitions" where the skater(s) they have invested in will win. Its a corporate thing...they seek control, above all, of their investment.

Corporations like to control the market, there are numerous books written on that subject.

The article seems to make clear she will compete at Nationals, however. Hmmm. How can they know that? Hmmm. ROFL! What a hoot, what an insult to one's intelligence!

Velveeta grilled cheese sandwiches are the best.

Cheese Whiz, like Twinkies, has a half-life, not a shelf-life!
