Anyone heard anything regarding changes any teams have made, breakups etc. since Lake Placid?

There seems to be a rumor that Langhans & Braasch have split, fueled by the fact that they were removed from their NAC junior event. (Donowick & Ungar replaced them.) I don't recall seeing that confirmed anywhere.

Moxley & Kirsanov and Nussear & Gates have gotten internationals out of Lake Placid, of course. Apparently they're waiting on the first two initial JGP assignments until after the NAC event, but I'd guess they've probably already unofficially decided on Matthews & Zavozin and Donowick & Ungar for those.

What International Grand Prix events have Moxley/Kirsanov and Nussear/Gates been assigned to? Did not see their names on the ISU page for dance participants. Thanks

Vienna Cup. Not a GP event, and unfortunately not televised.

I had heard the breakup rumor about Langhans/Braasch before they were removed from their NAC event. My guess is they notified the USFSA of their breakup and Donowick/Ungar was given their assignment. Can anyone confirm?

Oh no! I'm so disappointed about Lia and Ian! I thought they would do really well. Can't say I'm surprised about Jennifer and Trevor or Crystal and Nick. They all seemed mismatched to me. Can anyone comfirm these splits?

I've also heard the rumor about Lia and Ian splitting, now that I think of it, and also that he was trying out with Ellie Langhans. Again, just a rumor.

Wouldn't surprise me if the other two teams had split. However, if the rumor about Crystal and Nick is just based on the fact that they haven't been seen together, it's also possible that whoever's relocating hasn't done so full-time yet. Just a thought.

Such a shame. Count me in as one who's hoping the rumors about Nick and Crystal aren't true. Would love to see them skate at Nationals.

I was browsing the partner search over on ice-dance.com and I was surprised to find Stacey Carter in search of a partner! I remembered she was in the results from Junior Free Dance at Lake Placid. It turns out she must have split with her partner already! They placed well in the Free Dance (5th I believe?) which makes it seem weird that they would split. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I am so sorry to hear this news, I was looking forward to seeing the new teams from Plaid (including this one) shake things up in Junior dance. Does anyone know how long they had been training?
