there were two SNL skating skits that were pretty funny. Jason Priestley did one as the skater the network was building thier story around... mom drive 2 hours each way to take him to the rink, dad mortgaged the house... only to have him go splat - his scores were 0.0 to 1.0. Chris Farley did one with Nancy Kerrigan as a pairs team that was pretty funny too.

Nancy Kerrigan hosted an epi of SNL -- I think they did several skating-themed sketches then.
