Naomi Nari Nam now skating pairs

I just noticed Naomi Nari Nam listed as a competitor in the Senior Pairs event in Pacific Coast Sectionals. She's also coaching: http://www.eastwesticepalace.com/figure/staff-coaches.html

Although I did not see her skate, I was at Pacific Coast Sectionals this past week -- I heard that she and her partner blew the roof off of the place, at least in the Short. I will have to go online to see how they did in the LP.

Maybe an Olympic spot for them? that would be fun! 8-)

Well, if the point totals are any indication, they skated really well! In fact, they got more points overall in the comp than any of the Senior Pairs champs in the other sections and all but the top 4 pairs at the France GP event this weekend. (Inoue and Baldwin were in France and finished 4th, and while there is a substantial point difference between them and Naomi/partner, it will be interesting to see where Naomi and partner finish among the other top pairs at Nats.)
