Hey guys,

I have a quick question regarding tickets. Earlier this year I bought tickets to the senior events in St. Louis through TicketMaster. Does anyone know the refund policy on these tickets? Some events have happened recently and I can no longer afford to go.

I don't know specifics about this event, but I've never heard of Tickemaster -- or any ticket seller -- allowing refunds unless the event is cancelled. They do tell you at the time that all sales are final.

Your best bet is to try to flog them on to someone else. You can try the Trading Post (http://www.skatingforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14) forum here or at any of the other skating discussion forums, of you can try your local newspaper or an online source like Craig's List (http://www.craigslist.com).

I have returned tickets. I inadvertently ordered tickets for the junior event when I wanted the seniors. It cost me some transaction fees, but ticketmaster "let" me exchange the tickets. The credit took a while (over a week) to go through on my VISA card but I was refunded.

I had physically recieved the junior event tickets, I was concerned that when I dropped them in the mail, they would be lost. But everything worked out.

Good luck.

I've heard of people getting refunds for tickets -- one friend had bought 3 full-event tickets for she and some friends. Something occured and the friends couldn't go and she was able to cancel all three tickets. I think if the tickets haven't been issued yet they can just credit your account.

Too bad you can't go.
