Starting from the next season Tatiana Tarasova is planning to give up coaching. But it does not mean that she would leave figure skating. In the nearest future the great coach is planning to do something different...

Tarasova is a great coach who has raised the level of pairs skating, ice dance and then singles skating.
I find it funny now that when I read that Ilia Kulik had chosen her to be his coach (he was the most talented skater out there at the time) I thought he was insane! She was an ice dance coach, not a singles coach. Then I saw his Gershwin program, which was a masterpiece.
I respect and admire Tarasova for her contribution to figure skating, and hope to see more of her programs and of she herself.
P.S. All the Russians (and Ukranians) that I know in NYC say she is the moist well known and favorite ice skating figure in Russia (most of the women had skating lessons as children during the Soviet Union but came here and could not afford it so they know thier skating).
