Sorry about the spelling Denise!
Anyway, I was fooling around for the last 10 minutes of my session and I decided to try a Biellmann. I can achieve the position off the ice, so it's not a big deal...but here's my question
I can grab the blade with my right hand no problem. I can pull it up, no problem. I can't seem to get my left hand back there to pull it up ALL THE WAY. In the position I have now I'm holding the right free leg with the right hand - maybe I'm keeping it too far out to the side but I can't seem to grab with the left.
I was pretty pleased that I was able to do a partial Biellmann straight away - I thought that the balancing act would be difficult, but at this rate I'll have my Beillmann before my camel spin.
Any tips on grabbing with the left to pull ALL THE WAY (instead of about slightly above shoulder height?)
