2nd Annual Halloween Classic--application available!!

Hi, everyone! I know some of you have already seen it, but for those of you who haven't....the application is now available for the 2nd Annual IceWorks Halloween Classic. Go to the Club's website http://www.iceworkssc.org/ and click on the "Halloween Classic" button on the left side of the page. The full application and announcement are posted there, and more information (advertising, hotels, etc.) will be up shortly.

This is our second annual Adult competition. Following the new rules recently passed at Governing Council, all events will now be open to skaters 21 years old and over. We've added more events this year (MIF, Pairs Interpretive and Pairs Improv) and hope to have even more celebrity skater appearances.

Looking forward to seeing you and Loops as well! I'm glad to hear that you'll be making the trip up 95 again for this year's event. Oh, and the events are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday this year (no Friday events, only practice ice) so hopefully most people should be free from work conflicts.

I forgot to mention that this year's competition is being held on Nov. 5-6 rather than Halloween weekend (we had to reschedule to avoid a conflict with South Atlantic Regionals). But Halloween costumes are still welcome and encouraged! ;)
