Where can I find/buy a manual that details all the MITF and freestyle elements required for each test?

I have a coach, but I would like a copy so I can study the elements, etc when I do not have a lesson.

Since I skated as a child (in another country as well!), and am now getting back into skating, all the test elements are unfamiliar. I am curious what moves and elements are at each level, etc.

Thanks so much!

Try the USFSA web site... specifically the following link to order a rulebook (you will be sent the 2005-2006 Rulebook, which will have the "latest and greatest")

http://www.usfigureskating.org/content/rulebook.pdf

Using the rulebook as reference ensures that the information you obtain is accurate, especially if you are planning to test on the Adult track, as there are several MIF changes affecting Adults that kick in the beginning of September 2005.

I also find very helpful the MITF booklet published by PSA - see here: http://www.skatepsa.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=29&products_id=106 . It has the moves diagrams and tells you what the focus of each move is, as well as expectations and errors.

You might want to get the PSA MITF videos, as well ( http://www.skatepsa.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=41_43 ).

Hi!

I am about to place an order for the official rulebook... Do I have to be a member of a skating club to order? The form is asking for my ID#? Right now, I do not belong to a club, and the last club was the Atlanta FSC in 2001 or so. Where I am skating and living right now is temporary, so I most likely won't be joinging the local chapter.
