John Wilson Gold Seal Parabolics

Hey guys, just wanting to know of people on here that have gone from other blades to a Gold Seal Parabolic blades, and wanting to know their skating experience on the blades, such as like the feeling (Secureness of Edges etc)

I don't know a lot about them, but was curious about them very much so until somone told me they would be very difficult to find someone who could sharpen them and do it correctly because of the way they sort of curve in to the middle or whatever you call it.

Actually, I've heard there's no difference from other blades in how they should be sharpened. Check with your sharpener (as long as your sharpener is fairly knowledgeable about how to sharpen skates).

I think Debbie is right. My blade-guru says that there is no difference in sharpening them. I wouldn't get them sharpened by just anybody, but I wouldn't do that anyway! (And actually in some of the better places, the "just anybody's" won't touch anything above a Coronation Ace! -they've been trained very well).
