I wish for Sasha Cohen to skate her very best. I hope that she lands her 3/3, her QUAD, her triple sequence and all of her trademarked moves. I hope that she skates clean and inspired. I hope that she kicks major bootie. I know that she will be the favorite going into the Olympics, so I hope and pray that she can handle the pressure and give it her all. If she can block out the negatives, the Olympic gold is destined to become hers.
I hope that Irina is healthy and has more variety in her programs. Please get rid of that stale beilman and get some new, creative moves. I also hope she works on the sloppiness of her programs and her flow.
I hope that Carolina keeps nailing her 3/3 jumps. I hope she gets silver at Olympics.
I hope that Michelle Kwan can at least get one grand prix medal. Maybe she will be smart and chose the events that Sasha doesn't compete in, and then she'll stand a chance. I just don't think Michelle will ever beat Sasha, or the aboved mentioned girls, ever again.
Most of all, I want Sasha to shine and make figure skating more popular again. Sasha is the most popular US female figure skater, and once she starts winning, the ratings will soar.

My wishes for the Olympic season....
Michelle to win the OGM (I know it is a long shot, but I can wish, can't I?) Sasha wins U.S. Nationals and this puts Michelle in the underdog position going into the Olys and she fights and, for the first time in the Olys, skates - not as if she is afraid of losing something - but, as if she is going out to WIN something.
But, at the same time, I like Slutskaya also....but, have to stay loyal to Michelle, I guess. Maybe they can tie? 2 gold medals!! (But, no controversy like in 2002 with the pairs). Oh, and I'd like Joannie Rochette to win the Bronze. Haven't decided who I'd like to see win Silver. Maybe Nikodinov comes back with a fight we've never seen in her before - skating for her Mom - and surprises the heck out of everyone and is the surprise Silver winner at the Olympics!
I'd like to see Beatrisa Liang have a kick-a** season. And, I'd like the same for Jane Bugaeva, also.
Pairs: Xue Shen and Hongbo Zhao win OGM - I just like them! And, they've accomplished so much for Chinese pair skating. They had to learn from videotapes originally. Incredible!
Men: Hmmmm....this is a hard one because no one has captured my undying loyalty in the past few years. I would like to see Goebel win, I guess - but, again, I know that is a long shot. Plushenko winning Gold would be okay with me, too. Weir, I'd like to see win a silver and then come back and win gold at the next Olympics. Lambiel: Bronze. I'd love to see Savoie have a fantastic season in general. I think he has such potential, it just hasn't been released yet.
Dance: Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto - Tanith miraculously receives her citizenship in time to represent the U.S. and they win OGM.

I hope Sasha Cohen wins the next OGM - she deserves it because of what she has created for skating, and I don't see anyone out there now close to her. I think its her turn. I also think that she has the ability, beauty and personality to take skating more mainstream if she wins.
I think skating needs to make a huge break with the past...and shut up about the judging issues...reassure the public that everything is ok now, the corruption has been dealt with, and above all, give us something NEW as to the skaters!
I too wish that Tanith and Ben could skate at the Olympics and win...that would be so great, because IMHO they are the best.
In pairs, I will wait and see. I still pefer the Russian style in pairs skating. I am hopeful for a great season from Moskvina's pair, Julia Obertas and Sergey Slavnov. Her skating reminds me of Yelena Bareshnaya, but she is stronger than Yelena! I think they have the magic too, but it will come out as they mature. He doesn't look like Sergei Grinkov, but he treats his partner like Sergei did and is physically like Sergei. Also, he is very handsome and powerful, but sweetly so, like Sergei. I guess I am sort of wishing for another pair like G&G, very soulful yet technically magnificent?
Same in men...I will wait and see. Right now, I see Plushenko in physical decline, and I like Johnney's skating best of all the men. I just hope he is able to do that quad, and stick it because he will need it.
Morally speaking, I still love Timmy Goebel, and I would love to see him get his quads back, have the skate of his life, win a gold medal and make Frank Carrol sorry.

My wish is for Michelle to win Oly Gold, Irina to win Silver and Fumie or Shizuka to win Bronze, mainly because these three are mature young women who bring specific qualities that continue to "move" me.
My wish for pairs would be the Zhen and Zhao (sp.?) to win gold, no other teams excite me that much.
My wish for men would be : Evan (gold), Tim, (silver) and Plushenko (bronze)
My wish for ice dancing: don't really care, don't really follow it.

My wish is for Megan Wing & Aaron Lowe to place in the top 10 at their first Olympic Games.
My other wish is for Shawn Sawyer and Liz Putnam & Sean Wirtz to both make the Canadian Olympic team.
Oh ya... for Joannie Rochette to Win! :-)
GOOOOOOO CANADA!

Definately Weir, but WITHOUT a quad. Yeah I know it's a long shot but he's not a technical skater.

Olympic Gold medalists Kwan, Plushenko, Shen & Zhao, and the Bulgarians
Olympic Silver medalists Cohen, any U.S. guy or Stephane Lambiel, Ping and Tong, and Navka and Kostomarov
Olympic Bronze medalists Slutskaya, Michael Weiss, Totmianina and Marinin, Grushina and Goncharov
Tanith and Ben to win Worlds. (I think they will do it, too!)
A brilliant comeback Michael Weiss and/or Tim Goebel at Nationals, with an equally brilliant performance by Johnny Weir. Evan Lysacek and Ryan Jahnke to round out the top 5, with all 5 guys in an extraordinarly close finish. i.e. the best men's nationals ever!
Boston, Mass. to be awarded 2008 Worlds, where the USA will win all disciplines but pairs. (Meissner, Lysacek, and Tanith and Ben will all win gold.)

I want to see a season the is skated well, that has decent television announcing and not under "suspiscion". I would like to see less in fighting over the Michelle/Sasha opinions. I would like to see great technique by all skaters, less predictable lifts/moves in the field, more going out on a limb, music that has not been overused, etc.
I would like to have a great season for all skaters.

Ladies: MK to finally win Olympic Gold!!! If she's retiring after this, I hope it's on a good note... I'll be happy with either Sasha or Irina winning Silver/Bronze. Angela N. to have a really good skating season and make it on the Olympic team!!!
Men: TIMMY for Gold!!! Weir or Evan for Silver/Bronze...Weir just b/c he's such a beautiful skater to watch... and Evan for having the heart and gusto in his skating. Michael W. to not go gimmicky (quad lutz, anyone?) and just skate his heart out to a nice CLEAN, decent and BRILLIANT program.
Pair: Zhen and Shao. The pickin' for the US pairs is just sucky... Everyone's splitting up! :(
Dance: I also hope that mysteriously Tanith would get her US citizenship so she can compete with Ben at the Olympics... and WIN GOLD!!! Short of that, I'll settle for gold at Worlds. :D

Yeah but it's not his selling point, plenty of males can jump Waaay better then he ever will, but that's only one factor.
Anyway for men: I'd Say
Gold-Weir Silver- Plushenko (And it better be Close!!) Bronze-Sandhu
Women Gold - Kwan (if and only because she deserves it), Silver - Slutskaya, - Bronze - Fumie Suguri (But only if she wears pants in her long program)
