I love this team and am glad to hear this news, but I wonder if it will really happen. Didn't they make this same announcement last year that they would be returning this season? Nothing ever came of it.

I also wonder how easy it will be to come back to eligable skating after three years off and with a totally new judging system to boot.

Whatever happens next season I wish them all the best.

I could be wrong, but I wouldn't think CoP would present the team with too many problems. Even though D&V have not been competing as a team, they have been coaching other competitive dance teams, and doing choreography for competitive dance teams [e.g. Senft & Gislassen (sp?) etc.] as well. D&V would most certainly have to understand the new CoP system if their professional coaching and choreography is to have any success/demand at all.

I am looking forward to their return. I wish them all the very best in 2006. :D
