Oksana Kazakova works at Macy's in Bend, Oregon!

Okay, not the Oksana Kazakova, Olympic GM. My niece and I went to Macy's to get some makeup for her upcoming wedding, and the lady working the cosmetics counter was named Oksana Kazakova. I asked her if she knew that there was a skater with the same name, and she said she did. She said that Kazakova is a very common surname in Russia. This Oksana, however, is tall, blond, and a few years older than the skater. :D

I have a photo of my husband and I on the Splash Mountan ride in Walt Disney World and I swear the lady in one of the other seats looks like Nancy Kerrigan.

One of the program sellers at Worlds in 2003 had the last name of Kohout, same as Janet Lynn's coach. I asked him if he was related, but he had not heard of Slavka Kohout, nor Janet Lynn, for that matter.

Once in Canada I met a guy who looked a lot like Kurt Browning and his wife was absolutely thrilled when I mentioned it! On the same trip I saw a Michael Weiss lookalike in an elevator. Oddly enough, after the USFSA invitational in Providence last spring, my bf and I rode the elevator back up to our hotel room, and shared the elevator with Rena Inoue and John Baldwin...and Michael Weiss!

I used to work with a dead ringer for Ilia Kulik -- hair, height, build, facial features. It was before Ilia won his Olympic medal.

The last I knew this young man moved to Colorado and I always wondered if others did a doubletake when they saw him.

I belong to a health egroup, and got veeeeerrrry excited when I saw an email from Johnny Zimmerman! 8-) .....sadly not the same one..... :cry:

The novelty hasn't worn off though, I still get excited when I see an email from that name! :lol:

my friend saw ben agosto at a dance & pairs competition in indianapolis, well actually, I saw him and a lot of other people (yuka sato, her husband, Jenni meno and todd sand), I guess that's a pretty popular compition!

I just moved here two years ago from California, so with the exception of my co-workers and a few others, I haven't met a lot of people so far.
