Jeff's current coaches are Lee Barkell and Rafael Arutunian. Rafael is Michelle Kwan's coach and Alexander Abt's former coach. Lee is at Mariposa in Ontario and Rafael is in California.

Jeff just started working with Rafael this year. Last year he was trying to juggle his skating with his engineering studies at uni. This year he decided that by splitting his time he wasn't doing either justice. So he moved to Arrowhead for part of the season to really focus on his training, mentally and physically.
