?

I just watched S/Z's 2002 Olympics and what a shame!...it really looked like she had it for about 3 seconds, it looked a bit wobbly, then boom...

Has any woman been able to land one? How about any pairs teams that are attempting the throw quad salchow? (Is it always a salchow in throws?) I read that O/L, my favorite US team, is going to work on the quad throw this year.

And does it only "count" if it's in competition?

Thanks!

kazakova & Dmitriev attemted the throw quad toe at the World pros I think around 2000, overrotated, with Kazkova falling out of the jump....the same time Berez & Sikh were working on their own throw Quad salchow...that practice messed up Elena's triple timing. up to that point K & D were the only team attempting the quad throw recently. That Chinese team Zhang & Zhang were also doing, I think, quad toe in practice but have never complted it.

Wasn't Surya Bonaly's quad salchow ratified? I know I've read about it in the Guiness Word Book of Records. :??
