Imagine my surprise to open my alumni magazine to see an article on skating - sychronized at that. The article profiles Caite Renzi, a 5 year member of the Haydenettes. She attends UMass Amherst but drives 4 hours round trip several times a week to practice and perform with the Haydenettes. She's also started a local sychronized team with students from 2 colleges - UMass and Mount Holyoke.
