at one point, Tanith was dating Fedor Andreev, Canadian senior men's skater, and son of Marina Zoueva. I do not know whether or not this is still the case.

This may be a little off topic, but I still chuckle when I think of Adult Nationals a few years ago when our coach, a former US Jr. National Dance Champion, was looking at the list of entries for the pairs and dance teams. He couldn't believe the large number of "brother-sister" teams (in his world these would be the teams with the same last name). In some of the AN dance events 1/3 to 1/2 of the teams are married couples. I know that the pairs also have a number of married teams. We set him straight, of course, but it was a bit of an eye opener for him, especially when one married team came to his first practice pushing their baby across the ice!

Yeah, but they ain't talking about it and if it isn't in the press it probably isn't wise for anyone who has this knowledge to spread it out on the web, IMO. I don't know of any openly gay couples in figure skating. I think Rudy Galino is single? He's the only openly gay male that I can even think of.

Well, there's Brian Orser, but that wasn't by choice. And yeah, I totally agree--if there are any other gay couples, it's not public (media) knowledge, and unless the skaters themselves confirm anything, it's not anyone else's place to do so.

No, Carolina isn't engaged, but she supposedly dated Stephane Lambiel a few years ago. However, some Italian tv-commentators didn't believe that they had been dating (but that they were just friends because they've been at the same training camps, etc.) They didn't really say why they believed they'd never been dating.

Philippe Candeloro married an ice-dancer (I can't remember her name), and they have a couple of kids.

Sorry, my bad. Some people on LJ were saying it was Vitaliy because they believed it was a Russian. It makes much more sense that it was Drew though.
And that explains the "D"-necklace Johnny used to wear. I never really believed the whole "it stands for Dirrrty"-thing. It's sad that he had to lie about it though.

So I was reading about a skater on Wikipedia and clicked on Nicolas Morozov name and read his biography, which had a relationship section.. Holycow, this guy cannot stay with one person or he's just that charming that ladies cannot resist him... :mrgreen:
