Last night, I think it was these two anyway...I saw them on TV skating around somewhere but I don't know where or why, because I wasn't the most sober of people, but anyway, I'm sure I saw HER lift HIM up...or was that the new years cheer kicking in?!

I don't think it was the drink making you see things as Sinead has lifted John in previous programs (Backstreet Boys FD, perhaps). There isn't much of a height difference between them, and John isn't exactly muscles-bound, which facilitates "reverse" lifting.

A friend who has been staying down in London with friends over Hogmanay texted me this morning to say that she'd seen them on tv while she was down there. She was very excited to have recognised them lol and be able to tell her family who they were. I wish we'd had them on tv up here instead of the usual rubbish we got on at new year.

And yes, they've been doing reverse lifts for years, they always look effortless!

It is amazing anyway, but it looks absolutley spectacular when you're drunk.

John and Sinead were appearing in 'Woosh' a show choregraphed by Robin Cousins in Glasgow

I saw that too and it must have been a really smooth move b/c I said "Did I see her lift him?", and had to replay the vid. Since It don't drink I thought maybe a senior moment? Nahhhhhh.

A-ha, senior moments!
...Like the time I wrapped up some cat-food in a pass the parcel, and my grandma won it, and said "Ooh, Pate!"

I soon corrected her though. Mind you, the tin did say pate on it, but it was like rabbit and chicken and it had the biggest picture of a cat on it.

P.s I'd never really drunk/been drunk untill new years eve.
