I just went to the site from Skateweb and Shizuka was the leader going into the free, and was not even listed in the Free Program skate. Did she withdrawl because of injury?

I can't get that link to open, but that means she can't go to worlds, right? They decide their world team after 4CC's and they use nationals to decide who goes to that, right?
I know Russia is not very strict with their nationals, but I think Japan is.

It was posted on FSU that Ando and Arakawa were named to the World team, and that Suguri, Onda, and Ota were named to the 4CC team, with the highest finisher there being the 3rd entry for Worlds.

Proving once again that federations can do whatever they want to do.
It does make sense to send the current World Champion, however. I'm glad Arakawa is going.
