Rumor is true re Lang & Tchernyshev

I haven't seen this posted yet, but according to Blades on Ice, L & T have indeed moved to train with Tarasova and company.

..about this move! I've been hearing this rumor all summer, and I think it's perfect for them. especially since Ms. Tarasova seems to know what judges like to see!! :D

Oh it's definitely not a rumor, it's even on their official webpage. Glad they finally announced it, I think it's wonderful. Can't wait to see what TT can do with them...they're so great to watch, I think they just need that extra push and a few little changes to get them up the ranks. It will be very interesting to see what programs they come up with this year. From what I read Peter said they had about 70% of their free dance completed so far...must be hard to do as much time as they've spent on the road with COI this summer!

YES!!!! This is great that they left Zhulin for Tarasova. As much as of love Zhulin creative programs, L & T needed someone who can help them with the technical aspect of their programs. This was evident last season, with a great FP and fantastic OD but not enough techincal punch. Therefore the judges punished them harshly by ranking them lower to teams they were overall better then. Hopefully, L & T can break into the top 8 this year with the help of Tarasova. Isn't she the one who help boost C & S into the ice dance scene?

I agree, this a potentially a great move for them. But no coach, no matter how good, is a magician. Even if they have terrific programs, they still have to buckle down and work harmoniously together to get the job done. Seems like this is their biggest challenge, no matter who they are with. :?

When I read it on their OFFICIAL WEBSITE I was soooo happy for them. It is good to see that they have taken on the next step of their skating career. They have learned a lot from Zuhlin and they just need to polish up on a few things that the Tarasova team can help them. Tarasova helped C&S with many things as well as climbing up the world ladder and hopefully she can help them do this as well. Can't wait till next season. I just hope that they can get all the difficult cheorgraphy from Tarasova's other half Morosov.
