I heard from a reliable source that Lu Chen and Dennis Petrov are engaged to be married. Dennis used to skate with Elena Betchke. It is the second marriage for him.

Actually that part is true, both will be coaching in China part of the year, that was in a skating magazine.
There is a post on the SOI board that Lu Chen and Denis are going to run a skating program in China since so many skating rinks are being open.

Lu Chen and Denis has been a couple for a long time – as like in years. ;)

They have been engaged since the February. They will move to China this January.

I believe they will be coaching in Shenzen (just across the border from Hong Kong).

I hope it's not too late for me to congratulate Lulu and Denis on their upcoming marriage! :D I think it's wonderful Lulu's decided to give back to her home country and a courageous move for Denis to move to a place which must be very different to what he's been used to in Russia and the US. I wish both of them the very best of luck!

Congratulations to Lu Chen. We had the privelege of meeting her & my daughter to do a coaching clinic with her in Australia 18m ago. She was lovely and always had time for the kids. Wishing them both happiness. :D :D

Lulu ad Denis are already in China, and have been for the past two weeks. Everybody a the rink they were at are already missing them! Best of luck to both of them.:D
