Wonder if he's going to decline the invite like Michelle did that time. I hope that he doesn't b/c the ISU seems a little ticked with him, and China isn't THAT far from Russia.

Actually, I did some research last night. It's a 14-15 hour flight from St. Petersburg to Beijing. That seems pretty far to me.

Its a 22 hour flight from LAX to Hong Kong...with stops of about a hour at Hawaii and Guam.

Its another 4 hours or so by plane from Canton to Peking, can't recall exactly but not a short flight.

He has made it clear that because of the knee injury, he was only going to compete at home with the Cup of Russia and the World Championships in Moscow.

Well, he already competed at Marshall's which was here. And also apparently he's been confirmed that he is indeed going to participate in the final. GO PLUSH!! :D
